Blue Kangaroo’s morning program offers a warm, nurturing environment for toddlers in their critical early years, aged 6 months to 3.5 years. Each day brings free play and exploration, a rotating selection of arts and crafts (though easels with painting are available all days!), circle time with music, parachute play, and storytelling, and, weather permitting, outdoor exploratory play. The morning program is open weekday from 9:00 to 12:00 from September through July. Children and their caregivers are free to come and go as they please - no need to show up at 9am and no fear that by showing up later you’ve missed out!
Beginning in January Cecilia will be running circletime four to five days a week (Monday and Thursday in Spanish), and caregivers will benefit from Cecilia’s expert parenting advice and support!
A typical morning at Blue Kangaroo looks like this:
9:00-10:15: Arts/crafts, sensory table, STEM materials, free exploration
10:15-10:40: Circle time with songs, props, parachute play, and story (run in Spanish on Mondays and Thursdays beginning in January!)
11:00-11:30: Choice of outdoor time at our new exploratory playground or more indoor free exploration and activities
11:30-12:00: Free play while we tidy, bubbles, and goodbye (or stay at our outdoor area as long as you'd like!)
